After over a decade working in the O’Hagan group Qing is leaving to start a new job in the Drug Discovery unit at the University of Dundee. Qing came to St Andrews from China in 1999 to do a Ph.D with Prof Derek Woollins (1999 – 2002). In 2002 she joined Nigel Botting’s group as a postdoc until 2011, with a 1-year break in industry (2009) in Edinburgh, and from 2011 she has worked in the O’Hagan group. We gathered at David’s house to celebrate Qing’s time and achievements with the group and to show our appreciation for her work, support and friendship over the years.
