Mengfan He is from Sichuan, China and completed his MSc in Material Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh. He finished the Master project under the supervision of Dr Jennifer A Garden investigating synthesis and characterisation of salen-derived zinc complexes. He joined Prof David O’Hagan group in 2020 as a PhD student, investigating the organofluorine chemistry.
