Tanya Bykova

Tanya was born in Nikolaev, Ukraine. She completed her MChem Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry and External Placement at the University of St Andrews in 2014. Her industrial year she has spent at AkzoNobel, Newcastle, working on the project that was based on the control release of new organic biocides in marine paints.

Tanya joined the O’Hagan group in September 2014 as a PhD student and is involved in a synthesis of new building blocks in organofluorine chemistry.
